The president referred to July 28, 2021, when he took office and qualified as completely false those comments stating that his administration would call a national assembly to stay in power beyond 2026 or put into effect a communist model in the country.
He said that the main interest of his administration is to meet the population's significant needs and guarantee its access to health and education services.
In this sense, he pointed out that mayors must prioritize and complete public works to meet the people's needs. He said true decentralization and a balanced budget allocation are long overdue to benefit population centers.
