El Niño is continuing to wreak havoc in Bolivia. Authorities say up to 30,000 families have been affected by adverse weather conditions across the country. Nineteen people in Bolivia have been killed in floods and landslides since the start of the year.

Heavy rains in La Paz are causing landslides and mudslides while in the Altiplano drought like conditions are ruining crops. The village of Jupapina, near La Paz, was recently evacuated after a landslide destroyed homes and businesses.
