The Palestinian National Authority (PNA) confirmed that Faris Abdul Munim Hashash, a 19-year-old Palestinian citizen, died from multiple shots to the chest, abdomen, and legs. His death occurred while Palestinian youths were facing attack by Israeli troops.

Palestinian witnesses indicated that the deceased young man was a civilian and did not belong to any armed group in the area. According to local media, the Israeli occupation forces were trying to capture four militiamen belonging to the Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades.

Their military operation failed as the militiamen managed to escape. During the clashes, shells fired indiscriminately by Israeli forces injured eight Palestinians, including a child.

The Palestinian Red Crescent emergency medical service denounced that the Israeli troops made it difficult for its doctors to access the place to treat the wounded, four of whom have serious injuries as a result of shots in different parts of their bodies.
