Sao Paulo remains the national pandemic epicenter, surpassing 26,300 deaths, tailed by Rio de Janeiro and Ceara with more than 14,400 and 8,000 deaths respectively.

Brazil Healthy Ministry reported 1,262 deaths due to COVID-19 on Thursday for an overall toll of 105,463 virus-related deceases.

Sao Paulo remains the national pandemic epicenter, surpassing the 26,300 deaths, tailed by Rio de Janeiro and Ceara, with more than 14,400 and 8,000 deaths, respectively.

With a population close to 213 million, Brazil is the second nation most affected by the virus, with 3,224,876 COVID-19 cases. 

As of Thursday, 60,091 new cases were reported, and 767,417 remained active in the South American nation, as well as 8,318 critical patients.
