Chinese President Xi Jinping on Wednesday welcomed the opening of the IV Theoretical Seminar between the Communist Party of China (CPC) and the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) and noted that his delegation is eager to share experiences.
Xi Jinping stressed that both, the Communist Party of China (CPC) and the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC), are at the forefront of the socialist cause in their respective nations and reviewed the objectives set by both at their last congresses to further socio-economic development.

The seminar is being held on Wednesday and Thursday with an agenda focused on top priority issues for the PCC and CPC, namely socio-economic development and political and ideological work.
The Chinese leader stressed that the event is of utmost importance for both nations as it constitutes a great opportunity to explore a socialist development path taking into account the national realities of China and Cuba.

Xi Jingping expressed that China's CPC is willing to have thorough dialogues with the CPC on key theoretical and practical issues, learn from each other's experience in governance matters, and promote the building of the party and the socialist cause.
On the Cuban side, Roberto Morales, member of the Political Bureau and Secretary of Organization of the Central Committee of the PCC, heads the Cuban delegation. The Chinese delegation is headed by Hoang Kunming, the Political Bureau, the Secretariat and the head of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee.
