Venezuela's Arreaza Meets With Mozambique's President Nyusi for Regional Cooperation

Arreaza also stressed on the importance of new projects between the two nations which will help strengthen diplomatic ties. 

To deepen regional cooperation with some countries on the African continent, Venezuelan Foreign Minister Jorge Arreaza has embarked on the South-South Dignity Tour to the region, where he met with the President of the Republic of Mozambique Filipe Jacinto Nyusi Wednesday.

"We strengthen the links with Mozambique. We thank the President for their receptivity, solidarity, and strategic vision. We moved the President's hug . We have built a concrete and integral agenda of joint work. Obrigado! Kanimambo!" Arreaza tweeted.

Arreaza also met with Assembly member Verónica Nataniel Macamo Dlovo of the ruling party Frelimo and thanked her for the hospitality, stressing Venezuela will support the African nation on issues it has experience with. 

"Venezuela has extensive experience in hydrocarbon legislation, exploration, oil, and gas exploitation, as well as parliamentary collaboration between the National Constituent Assembly and the National Assembly of Mozambique," he said. 

The Venezuelan minister also stressed the importance of new projects between the two nations which will help strengthen diplomatic ties. 

Jorge Arreaza commenced the tour Tuesday and is scheduled to visit South Africa and Ghana.
