Syrian Anti-Aircraft Defense Repels Israeli Missiles

A new missile attack was repelled on Tuesday by the Syrian anti-aircraft defense when it was launched against Damascus. "The Syrian anti-aircraft defense repelled the attack of several missiles west of Damascus," local media reported.

The TeleSUR correspondent in Syria, Hisham Wannous, said that "the Israeli aggression targeted the western part of Damascus and occurred after making fictitious Israeli incursions into southern Lebanon."

In addition, he indicated that the incident was recorded at 22:00 (local time) when the defense systems were activated by the new Israeli aggression.

"The Syrian anti-aircraft defense systems repelled a new Israeli aggression with several missiles against areas on the perimeter of the Syrian capital," he said.
