The internet did its thing and shredded to pieces the U.S. house speaker’s selfie which was 100 percent white people.

The top elected Republican in the United States Paul Ryan is under fire over a selfie he posted on Instagram boasting about the number of interns at Capitol Hill.

The problem was that people could not handle how white the selfie was. Within hours after it was posted the internet chose it to be the “least diverse selfie in history.”

“I think this sets a record for the most number of #CapitolHill interns in a single selfie. #SpeakerSelfie,” Ryan, the speaker of the Republican-led House of Representatives, said with his Instagram post Sunday.

But people would have none of it. One person called the speaker “tone-deaf.” Another person wrote: “Plenty of diversity; I see blue suits, a green suit, brunettes, blondes—lots of diversity!”

The selfie, which Paul probably wishes he never took, comes a day before the Republican National Convention opens in Cleveland, Ohio, which is expected to see draw protests against the party and its presumptive nominee for president, Donald Trump.
