This decision is part of the Recovery and Economic Prosperity Plan promoted by the Venezuelan president.

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela Nicolás Maduro announced Sunday the creation of the Ministry of Popular Power for Domestic Trade that will be in charge of governing the policies of the domestic market regarding distribution and commercialization in this stage of economic recovery.

"We need a thriving economy, which is in the process of development and growth, with such potentiality it needs a very powerful internal market and very well organized internal trade," he said from the Cuartel la Montaña, Caracas, where the congress of the United Socialist Party was held. of Venezuela (PSUV).

"It is necessary to go to the specific ones, to be a well-articulated ministry with the traders, with producers from all regions." 

This decision is part of the Recovery and Economic Prosperity Plan promoted by the Venezuelan president that includes the price agreement, salary increase, monetary reconversion and other actions in the financial sector.
