The events formed part of the first ever day of Justice for All Black Women and Girls.
Protests were held across the US on Thursday to draw greater attention to the under reported issue of Black women who have been victims of police violence and racism. At many events the families of the victims came together to commemorate their lost loved ones and demand justice.
