On Saturday, the Israeli military perpetrated a massive bombing attack in the Gaza, reportedly firing on 80 Hamas targets, in response to 30 rockets fired from the region to an area near the city of Sderot Friday.

No injuries have been reported on either side of the border. However, in the Gaza, an Indonesian hospital reported damage and power loss due to the Israeli strikes.
According to the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), 10 rockets were stopped by the countries’ Iron Dome missile-defense system. On Wednesday, Tel Aviv previously ordered an attack on Hamas positions stating that the group has allegedly been attacking Israeli settlements with fire balloons.
On Friday, the IDF also attacked three Hamas posts, shot and killed four Palestinians as well as injured 232 while opening fire on protestors along the Gaza border. The latter incident happened during the March of Return , which is held every Friday by Palestinian citizens.
In March, a series of events prompted criticism of United States President Donald Trump’s ‘peace plan’ for Palestine and Israel. First, a U.S. decision, taken on December 2017, to accept Israel’s illegal annexation of the Occupied East Jerusalem territory as well as the relocation of the U.S. embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.
