The Grandmothers of Plaza de mayo announced they found another granddaughter and will reunite her with her family in a press conference Thursday.

The group Grandmothers of Plaza de Mayo, the Argentine human rights organization searching for kidnapped babies during the 1970s dictatorship, announced Wednesday that they have found the 127th grandchild.

The internationally-renowned organization said on its Twitter it was “happy over finding the #granddaughter127! Tomorrow we invite you to a press conference in Abuelas [the organization’s headquarters]” at 1:00 p.m. local time.

The Mothers and Grandmothers of the Plaza de Mayo have held weekly marches in Buenos Aires’ central square in front of the Presidential Palace, the Plaza de Mayo, every Thursday since founding the organization in 1977 to search for children and grandchildren who were kidnapped and disappeared during the dictatorship.

Between 1976 and 1983 an estimated number of 30,000 people suspected of being against the military dictatorship of General Jorge Rafael Videla were disappeared and most of them remain unfound.

An additional 500 babies were born to activist mothers held captive by the military. Their children were then stolen by military families, sold or abandoned into government institutions.

The Grandmothers of the Plaza de Mayo also provides support to families in other countries that have suffered the enforced disappearance of loved ones. The group has also been a vocal opponent of the conservative government of President Mauricio Macri.
