For now, no single official cause of death has been released for the leader of the rock band, although available information indicates that he had been suffering from a complex medical condition for some time.

With over four decades in the business, Staiti was a key figure in the consolidation of Spanish-language rock. His musical journey began in the late 1970s, when in 1979 he founded the band Enanitos Verdes in Mendoza, Argentina, along with Marciano Cantero and Daniel Piccolo.

From then on, he remained the lead guitarist and one of the creative forces behind the group, participating in the development of a sound that combined rock with Latin pop during a pivotal period for the genre’s growth in the region.

Following Marciano Cantero’s death in 2022, Felipe Staiti also assumed the role of vocalist and visible leader of the project, keeping the band active on international stages.

His career, spanning more than four decades, positions him as one of the key figures in Argentine and Latin American rock, with a legacy that remains in the collective memory through a repertoire that will continue to resonate for decades.
