The operation is part of the doctrine of “Integral Defense of the Nation,” which seeks a permanent national offensive to achieve and consolidate peace.

During the event, Maduro highlighted once again the unity, loyalty and commitment of state security forces, as well as the five branches of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB). As FANB commander in chief, he reaffirmed the nation’s commitment to defending its sovereignty and territorial integrity.

“Venezuela does not attack anyone, but it also does not accept threats from anyone,” the Bolivarian leader said, accompanied by residents of Caribia City in La Guaira state.

The text reads, “Good morning. Two hundred years ago, Venezuela achieved an extraordinary feat by defeating an empire. Today, we heed the call to maintain our homeland’s freedom and sovereignty! President Maduro announced the launch of Independence Plan 200: Active Resistance and Permanent Offensive!”

Currently, forces involved in Independence Plan 200 are active in strategic areas of the country such as the coasts of Falcon, the Catatumbo region in Zulia, the Andes, and the Apure plains.

“We defend Venezuela’s right to peace, because no one has the right to disrupt the independence, territorial integrity and sovereignty of the people,” Maduro said and emphasized the readiness of the FANB and the Bolivarian National Militia (MNB) to safeguard their national territory.

“Venezuelans are neither orphaned nor alone, because they won the freedom of five South American countries,” Maduro recalled, referring to Venezuela’s role in the struggle against Spanish colonialism.

“We don’t want peace in the colonies… The order is given: defend the homeland and guarantee territorial peace 24 hours a day,” he said, activating 284 battle fronts across Venezuelan territory.
