An Israeli drone strike killed four Palestinian men early Sunday morning in the vicinity of Shawa Square, east of Gaza City, according to emergency personnel and a hospital source, as nearly daily attacks continue despite a ceasefire in place.

The bombing occurred around 1:30 a.m. local time. The four victims’ bodies were transported to Al Shifa Hospital. No further details about the identities or affiliations of the deceased were immediately provided.

This attack follows a separate Israeli airstrike on Saturday that targeted a vehicle at the entrance to the Al Maghazi refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip, killing at least one person and wounding five others, an emergency service source confirmed.

According to the local Ministry of Health, at least 720 Gazans have been killed in near‑daily Zionist fire since the current ceasefire took effect on October 10. The United Nations reports that more than 200 of those deaths occurred near the so‑called yellow line, a demarcation where Israeli troops have redeployed but still control more than half of the Strip. No clear timeline has been set for a full withdrawal or for the launch of the ceasefire’s second phase.

Since October 7, 2023, nearly 72,300 Palestinians have been killed, including over 20,000 children. The offensive has been recognized as genocide by an independent UN commission, human rights rapporteurs, NGOs, and a growing number of countries.
