The acting president Delcy Rodríguez led a Day of Integral Social Care at La Soublette, Catia La Mar, aimed to benefit more than 5,500 families of the Circuit Comunal Catia La Mar 1. After mentioning that “we have been working for two weeks” with the governor and the National Government “recovering homes,” he said that there are people who lost their homes and “we have instructed the teams to find homes immediately to guarantee a roof for our boys and girls, most importantly, and to heal the wound of anguish left by this attack.”

He added that this is important for the affected Venezuelan population, “which still feels the impact, anguish.” “Let them know that we are going to social intervention, to health intervention, to guarantee the integrity of physical and mental health, because we know that the people were traumatized.”

At the same time, he affirmed that “we also know that the dignity of the Venezuelan people is the first shield we have to preserve our integrity as a people, territorial integrity, and national independence.”
