Venezuelan authorities have declared that the country is operating under full supply conditions, attributing the outcome to the expansion of domestic production and strengthened production linkages, even as sanctions and broader economic constraints persist.

The statement was made during a visit to the Social Welfare Institute of the Armed Forces (Ipsfa) in Caracas, where Vice President and acting President Delcy Rodríguez reviewed efforts aimed at consolidating productive initiatives.

Rodríguez said national production policies have helped reduce supply pressures in the country.

It is worth noting that the Los Próceres Shopping Center, as well as its branches in other regions of the country, constitute the most emblematic example of this vision, which seeks to promote commercial and productive ventures; since its spaces not only house hundreds of public and private businesses, but also generate a large number of direct and indirect jobs.

“Full supply in Venezuela, shortages have ceased to be a problem in our country, thanks to national productive drive, production linkages, (…) these are very positive figures for our country and demonstrate commitment despite a blocked economy,” she said.

She added that the results reflect resilience under restrictive conditions and suggested that further improvements could be achieved if sanctions on the country were lifted.

Rodríguez also reported that commercial activity reached a record level over the weekend, surpassing all daily sales figures recorded so far this year as well as those of previous commemorative periods. She described the figures as a signal of economic recovery, noting that business actors view them as an opportunity for expanding productive projects.

The acting president reaffirmed the government’s intention to continue raising the overall income of workers, describing it as a central component in sustaining economic activity and productive momentum.

“Confío plenamente que, en la medida que vayamos mejorando el ingreso de los trabajadores y las trabajadoras del país, este sector va a tener un gran impulso,” she concluded, after congratulating merchants on what she described as strong operational results.

Authorities presented the reported supply stability and record sales as indicators of domestic economic strengthening under sanctions-related constraints.
