She warned that the nation is in an unequal confrontation with a “nuclear power.” Nevertheless, she said the Venezuelan people are not acting out of fear but out of a conviction to defend the country’s history and peace.
“We are at a moment of victorious resistance,” Rodriguez said, calling for cohesion across Venezuela to confront what she described as an international threat.
The acting president emphasized that this resistance must be the pillar of national unity, stressing that despite the criminal nature of the attack, the moral and historical superiority of the Venezuelan people is what inspires the defense of the homeland.
She reiterated that the Bolivarian Revolution remains firm as the core and driving force of this battle for sovereignty. Venezuela’s acting president also reaffirmed the three fundamental objectives guiding the actions of the High Political Command.
First is the preservation of peace to guarantee the stability of the republic in the face of siege. Another absolute priority is the rescue of President Nicolas Maduro and First Lady Cilia Flores. Third, Rodriguez stressed the importance of defending political power so that the Bolivarian Revolution can continue to guarantee the protection of the Venezuelan people.
“President Maduro prepared us for these scenarios,” the acting president said, underscoring that loyalty and “strategic patience” are the tools to advance toward victory.
Rodriguez called for unity, warning that “the enemy’s great victory would be division.” She asked for trust in the Bolivarian political leadership in the face of actions that may appear “hard to understand,” explaining that all of them respond to a solid strategy against the adversary.
“We have a moral and historical superiority that inspires us to resist,” the acting president said, reaffirming that the engine of this battle is the Bolivarian Revolution in absolute unity.
