During the event, Rodriguez announced the approval of over 400 productive projects aimed at empowering young Venezuelans and simultaneously issued a firm call to the United States to cease its sanctions and blockade against the Bolivarian Republic.
Youth Development
The Grand Meeting with Venezuelan Youth, held this Thursday in Caracas at the Teresa Carreño Theater, convened 2,200 young participants representing nine distinct sectors: Entrepreneurs, Communicators, Barbers and Stylists, Communes, Students, Athletes, Hip Hop artists, Motorcyclists, and Gamers.
This event was specifically designed to highlight the crucial importance of each sector in the national development process and to foster greater unity among Venezuelan youth, under an initiative that underscores the National Government’s unwavering support for the potential of new generations to forge a promising future across their diverse fields of action.
During the gathering, Acting President Rodriguez embarked on a tour through each of the designated stations, engaging directly with representatives from the various productive sectors, which allowed her to gain firsthand insights into their experiences, challenges, and innovative proposals.
The atmosphere was one of dynamic exchange, where young people enthusiastically expressed their desire to undertake entrepreneurial ventures and articulated a clear need for enhanced training and capacity-building programs.
In this context, Rodriguez emphasized that the National Executive has issued “a call for a new economic model where youth must play a protagonistic role.” She further affirmed that this emerging economic model must be intrinsically linked with both the communal economy and the entrepreneurship economy.
“All together, we have learned amidst the criminal blockade against Venezuela that if we all combine efforts, from industry to the economy of entrepreneurship, we can all contribute to defeating it and overcoming it. This is the path”, Rodriguez stated, reaffirming the Government’s commitment to empowering Venezuelan youth as key agents of economic resilience and national sovereignty.

Demand for Sanctions End
During the Grand Meeting with Venezuelan Youth, Acting President Delcy Rodriguez conveyed a direct and unequivocal message to U.S. President Donald Trump, unequivocally requesting “the cessation of sanctions and the blockade against our Homeland.”
This urgent appeal highlights the detrimental impact of the unilateral coercive measures on Venezuela’s socio-economic fabric and its young population.
Rodriguez underscored that this call is not merely from the Government, but is also strongly echoed by the nation’s youth.
“May no one steal our independence, our right to be young, but a right to be a Venezuelan youth, who carries in their veins the blood of our liberators. And may that blood drive us every day more to defend Venezuela”, she emphasized. This statement powerfully links the current struggle against sanctions to the historical legacy of Venezuelan independence and the revolutionary spirit of its founding heroes, inspiring the youth to defend their nation’s sovereignty.
She also sent “to President Nicolas Maduro and the First Combatant, the fighter Cilia Flores, a loud applause, may they have much strength, may they feel the love of the Venezuelan youth”, both kidnapped in a New York prison since January, 3, after the U.S. imperialist attack.
Rodriguez unequivocally stressed that Venezuela has never been a country that threatens the United States, nor any other nation on the planet. Instead, she affirmed that her country has consistently upheld a geopolitical policy rooted in friendship and cooperation, advocating for a multipolar world based on mutual respect and non-interference.
This firm stance reiterates Venezuela’s commitment to peaceful coexistence and its rejection of unilateral pressures that undermine its sovereignty and the well-being of its people, particularly its youth.
