“I truly appreciate the incredible reaction, both nationally and internationally, of solidarity and support (…) A popular demonstration, truly full of hope, turning indignation into hope,” said the president.

Likewise, the head of state asserted that the U.S. government’s war is not against him but against the Venezuelan people, which also involves the persecution and kidnapping of Venezuelan migrants.

“I thank you for your solidarity with this humble president, the first Chavista president, committed to the legacy. The attack is not against Maduro; it is against the people,” he said during a working meeting with governors and mayors from the Great Patriotic Pole Simón Bolívar (GPPSB).

Highlighting that such attacks also represent racism and discrimination from the U.S. empire against Latinos, Maduro added that more than 90% of Venezuelans reject any kind of fascist, interventionist, or coup-driven formula against the country.

Maduro insisted that 80 percent of people “approve the path of coexistence, harmony, tolerance, and work,” while more than 90 percent reject fascism and all its interventionist and coup plans aimed at affecting the country’s sovereignty and integrity. “These are round numbers,” he added.
