In Jenin, forces entered the Al-Marah neighborhood and the nearby to wn of Beit Qad, detaining one resident. Two additional individuals were arrested during a raid on a residential building in the city.
South of Nablus, troops extended their operation into the town of Beita, accompanied by a heavy military presence and armored vehicles positioned throughout local neighborhoods. Medical workers reported that an ambulance crew was temporarily held near the Samer Abu Zeitoun outpost during the incursion. Forces also entered both the old and new Askar refugee camps east of Nablus.
In occupied East Jerusalem, Zionist units raided the home of former prisoner Mahmoud Musa Issa—previously deported to Egypt—in the town of Anata. Another raid targeted Qalandia refugee camp to the north, where troops fired multiple stun grenades during the operation.
Tel Aviv’s regime also conducted searches in homes in the village of Al-Burj, south of Hebron (al-Khalil), and in Beit Sira, located in the Ramallah governorate.
These developments come as a ceasefire in Gaza continues to hold, permitting the exchange of captives and the delivery of humanitarian assistance. While the truce has been welcomed, analysts caution that the situation on the ground remains highly unstable.
In the months leading up to the Palestinian Resistance’s October 7 operation, conditions in the West Bank had already been deteriorating. What began as warnings of a possible third Intifada has since escalated into widespread unrest.
