Currently, at least 400 flotilla activists from 39 nations remain unaccounted for.
On Tuesday, an Israeli patrol boat intentionally caused a collision with one of the last two humanitarian ships still sailing toward Gaza as part of the Global Sumud Flotilla.

“An Israeli navy vessel tried to stop the Sirius, one of our last two ships. After first creating artificial waves, it fired water cannons and then hit the stern,” the Flotilla stated.
In a live broadcast for the Italian newspaper Il Fatto Quotidiano, Carlo Biasoli, a member of the Global Sumud Flotilla, confirmed that the Sirius was rammed by the Israeli navy.
“In recent hours, we have witnessed a worsening of military behavior, especially at sea,” Biasoli emphasized, referring to gunfire directed at some of the flotilla’s vessels.
So far, Israeli occupation forces have managed to seize 40 ships carrying humanitarian aid bound for the Gaza Strip.
“At this time, the whereabouts of more than 400 activists from 39 different nationalities who were on board the ships remain unknown, with no notification about their location. The Flotilla coordinators report that at least five vessels were fired upon by Zionist forces: Munki, Elengi, Giorama, Alcione and Zefiro,” the Argentine outlet La Izquierda Diario reported.
“Before being stopped, the last ships trying to break the siege and bring humanitarian aid to Gaza said that ‘it is grotesque to see how attacks intensify in Gaza and the West Bank, where the death penalty has been imposed for people of Palestinian origin, while about 10,000 detainees in occupied Palestine suffer physical and psychological torture, rape and mutilations’,” it added.
On Tuesday, human rights activists will hold demonstrations around the world to demand the immediate release of the Flotilla’s members and an end to the Zionist occupation of the Gaza Strip, La Izquierda Diario announced.
