On Saturday, in violation of international laws, US forces attacked areas of Caracas and the states of Miranda, Aragua and La Guaira, the latter where the Simón Bolívar International Airport is located, the country’s main air terminal serving Caracas.

As a result, hundreds of flights were suspended in the Caribbean, at least 357 flights affected at Luis Muñoz Marín international airport, Puerto Rico’s main airport, and another 89 cancelled in Aruba.

In statements published on Instagram, the airlines announced a resumption of flights after a brief suspension that was not officially communicated by the companies, the Ministry of Transportation, or the National Institute of Civil Aviation. The website of the Simón Bolívar International Airport, which serves Caracas, also maintained the scheduled routes for Saturday.

The Laser airline said that it has resumed its domestic flights and that as of Monday, the routes to Madrid, Bogotá, and Curaçao will resume on their regular schedules.

“Those passengers who have not been able to take their flights on January 3rd and 4th, 2026, are invited to reschedule their trip on the next available flights,” it added.

Likewise, the state airline Conviasa reported that they will fulfill their activities scheduled for this Sunday.

For its part, Avior announced the reactivation of its national routes from this Sunday and called on passengers of international trips to contact the company for more information.
