Venezuela To Hold Popular Consultation for Youth on July 27

The president of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, announced this Saturday that next July 27 will be held a popular consultation aimed at young people in the country, in a democratic event that “will allow young people to lead community projects.”

“On July 27, just hours before we celebrate in the streets of Venezuela and the world the great victory of last July 28, we go to elections of the youth consultation project,” said the head of state.
The Venezuelan president ordered the responsible for the portfolio of municipalities, Angel Prado, to launch all procedures so that young people can start implementing the projects they will present at the consultation.
President Maduro stressed that this consultation will be an opportunity for new generations to promote initiatives that strengthen the popular economy, organized communities and the sovereignty of the country.
In this regard, he emphasized the importance of the active participation of youth in the recovery and construction of the revolutionary project.
In addition, the Venezuelan head of state, signed the decree to create the Corporacion Juntos Todo es Posible, “an instance that comes to end with bureaucracy,” and with the objective of strengthening and directly attending the Concrete Agenda for Action (ACA) of the communities in the country.
President Maduro announced the creation of the “Together Everything is Possible” Corporation within the framework of the Economic Emergency Decree and the anti-imperialist struggle, seeking to strengthen the capacity of the state and build a sovereign economy.
This corporation, which will take effect on May 19, will promote popular participation and self-management in the execution of works, implementing a monitoring and maintenance plan to ensure the durability and quality of the projects, considered acts of social justice and popular sovereignty.
