Venezuela’s volunteer brigades mobilized along the La Guaira coast to search for survivors and missing persons following the June 24 earthquake, coordinating with professional rescuers and the Bolivarian National Guard.
A high influx of organized citizens maintains a solidarity deployment along the shores of La Guaira state, joining institutional search and rescue operations with determination and collective discipline.
The popular power initiative began a new operational day at Caribe Beach, in Caraballeda, directly collaborating in debris removal and systematic tracking of survivors or deceased persons across the most structurally affected quadrants of the coastal region.

The coordinated response model between volunterr brigades and professional rescue teams and troops from the Bolivarian National Guard reflects the revolutionary principle of civil-military union, where organized communities work hand in hand with state institutions to face emergency situations.
Civil participation proves essential in clearing materials and roadways, integrating with tasks executed by the working class of the Ministry of Public Works using heavy machinery.
These operations operate under the protection of the Great Mission Venezuela is Borned, announced this Tuesday by Acting President Delcy Rodriguez as a comprehensive state policy for post-disaster reconstruction and social recovery.
Text reads: “Venezuelan authorities are relentlessly removing structures affected by earthquakes in La Guaira. Work is focused on clearing impacted areas to reduce risks and advance the recovery of affected areas.”
The solidarity of the volunteers extends equally toward managing temporary camps, where they support comprehensive medical care days for affected families and emergency personnel themselves. Health brigades provide continuous attention to displaced populations, ensuring that basic needs are met while families await news of their missing loved ones.
This collective effort includes mobilizing resources for safeguarding and providing veterinary assistance to recovered pets. Such actions reaffirm the commitment of grassroots organizations to sustaining human accompaniment in coastal zones during both daytime and nighttime deployments, demonstrating that the Venezuelan people do not abandon their own in times of crisis.
