Venezuela Dismantles Organized Crime Structures in Bolivar State

A joint anti‑crime operation carried out by Venezuelan security forces and United States agencies in the southeast of Bolívar state dismantled organized crime structures operating in the area, the Venezuelan Ministry of Communication and Information confirmed on Friday.


During the operation, authorities confronted members of criminal groups, which led to the takedown of Héctor Rusthenford Guerrero Flores, known as “Niño Guerrero” and identified as the head of a criminal organization.

The Venezuelan government emphasized its commitment to fighting organized crime and pledged to continue taking necessary measures to ensure peace, public safety, and protection of the population.

“We congratulate the work of all officials and security agencies and institutions that participated in this successful operation,” the press release read.
