Authorities Report Strikes on Warehouses, Oil Refinery, and Border Regions.

On Tuesday morning, a new Ukrainian escalation against Russian territory left seven people dead in three attacks targeting e-commerce warehouses in Moscow and the border regions of Belgorod and Bryansk.

In an attack carried out early Tuesday against a warehouse belonging to Wildberries, the Russian equivalent of Amazon, in the Moscow region, five people were killed and 10 others were injured. Since July 18, Ukraine has attacked 21 of the company’s logistics centers.

“Several fires broke out in the Novoselok industrial park as a result of the impact. The largest was at a warehouse, and the flames have already been extinguished,” Moscow Oblast Governor Andrei Vorobyov said, adding that an electrical substation and an administrative building were also damaged.

Leningrad Governor Alexander Drozdenko reported damage to a warehouse area near the town of Krasny Bor as a result of another Ukrainian attack in which one person was injured. Wildberries confirmed the attack on a logistics facility but added that personnel had been evacuated in time.

Tver Governor Vitaly Korolyov reported that Russian air defenses shot down an unmanned aircraft attempting to attack one of the company’s warehouses in the town of Emmauss.

On Tuesday, two other people were killed in attacks on the Kursk region and the border regions of Belgorod and Bryansk, the areas hardest hit by the Ukrainian offensive.

Ukrainian drones struck another refinery (Syzran) in the Samara region, 750 kilometers southeast of the capital. For the same reason, the facility, owned by Russia’s largest oil company, Rosneft, was forced to suspend operations less than a month ago.

The Russian Defense Ministry said that 320 Ukrainian fixed-wing drones were intercepted over 18 Russian regions and Crimea.

Authorities Detain Ukrainian Agents in Crimea

Meanwhile, Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB) reported the detention in the port city of Sevastopol of two individuals recruited by Ukrainian military intelligence.

During the operation, Russian authorities seized three drones, a homemade bomb, and other plastic explosives that the detainees allegedly intended to use to carry out attacks against critical infrastructure in Crimea, a region that Ukraine is attempting to isolate by land, sea and air.

The detainees were also assigned the mission of attacking one of the pro-Russian leaders of the regions that joined the Russian Federation in 2022 during his official visit to Crimea.

Authorities also detained a Ukrainian citizen who was tasked with gathering information on the location of Russian heavy weaponry and other vital infrastructure in Crimea. The detainee was instructed to assemble drones using 3D printers for the automatic delivery of explosives against Russian targets. As a result, the individual could be sentenced for high treason.

As part of the same campaign, a man was sentenced on Tuesday to 16 years in prison for sending the enemy information and photographs about the movement of an assault helicopter.
