Israeli Airstrikes Kill 5 Palestinians in Gaza

The bombing in Tuffah also left an undetermined number of people injured.

In the early hours of Wednesday, Israeli occupation forces killed at least five Palestinians in airstrikes targeting a residential block in the Tuffah neighborhood of Gaza.

The Palestinian news agency WAFA also reported that the bombing in Tuffah left an undetermined number of people injured and caused severe damage to the building.

Early in the morning, the Israeli army also entered the city of Jenin, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank, leading to clashes.

On Tuesday, the Gaza Health Ministry confirmed that at least 17 Palestinians had been killed in the enclave and another 86 wounded following attacks by the Israeli occupation forces.

Additionally, at least seven Palestinians were killed on Tuesday by Israeli fire in different incidents in the occupied West Bank, confirmed the Ministry of Health of the Palestinian National Authority (PNA), which governs limited areas of the territory.

Currently, the West Bank is experiencing its highest levels of violence since the Second Intifada (2000-05). So far in 2024, Zionist forces have killed at least 428 Palestinians in refugee camps, including over 70 minors.

The Israeli army intensified its raids in the occupied West Bank since the beginning of the offensive against Gaza in October 2023, killing at least 770 Palestinians since then.
