The Gaza Strip Government Media Office condemned Israel’s serious and systematic violation of the October 10 ceasefire agreement, recording 875 breaches of the truce. “At least 411 Palestinians have been killed and another 1,112 wounded in Israeli attacks on Gaza since the ceasefire began,” the agency reported.

The Palestinian movement Hamas warned that these figures represent 25 ceasefire violations per day, including killings, attacks on civilians, bombings, the blocking of humanitarian aid, and the concealment of information about prisoners and missing persons. “Israel deliberately killed civilians, especially women and children,” and “exterminated entire families,” Hamas stated.

According to a report by the Gaza Government Media Office, Israeli forces fired on civilians 265 times, raided residential areas beyond the “yellow line” 49 times, shelled the Gaza Strip 421 times, and demolished properties in 150 incidents. In addition, 45 Palestinians from Gaza were kidnapped in the last two months.

The Office has issued a warning about an unprecedented and rapidly worsening humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip. This situation stems from Israel’s continued closure of border crossings and its blocking of the entry of tents, mobile homes, caravans, and other essential shelter materials.

The Office emphasizes that these actions constitute a clear violation of existing agreements and international humanitarian law.

Alarming Shortage of Medicines Due to Israeli Blockade

The Palestinian Ministry of Health denounced an “alarming” shortage of medicines and medical supplies in the Gaza Strip on Tuesday, due to persistent Israeli restrictions and the offensive that has been ongoing for more than two years. This situation is severely compromising emergency and surgical care for hundreds of thousands of patients in the devastated territory.

According to the official statement from the Ministry of Health, the number of items completely out of stock on the essential medicines list has reached 321, representing a 52 percent shortage. On the list of medical consumables, the figure rises to 710 items out of stock, with a 71 percent shortage, while the shortage rate for laboratory tests and blood bank supplies has reached 59 percent.

The most critical shortage of medicines is being experienced in emergency services, particularly life-saving intravenous solutions, intravenous antibiotics, and painkillers.

This critical shortage of emergency and intensive care services is potentially depriving 200,000 patients of urgent care, 100,000 of surgical services, and 700 of intensive care. Additionally, the Ministry cited a severe lack of supplies in areas such as renal care, cancer treatment, open-heart surgery, and orthopedic treatments, among other essential services.
