Israeli military forces significantly escalated their direct attacks against health facilities and emergency vehicles in multiple localities across southern Lebanon this Friday.

These aggressive actions by Zionist aviation have resulted in the deaths of at least 122 paramedics who were performing their humanitarian duties, triggering strong condemnation from the Lebanese Ministry of Health.

The systematic bombings severely impacted rescue teams from the Al-Risala Ambulance Association in the municipality of Deir Qanoun al-Nahr. Furthermore, zionist airstrikes deliberately targeted medical transport vehicles and rescue motorcycles in the border town of Burj Rahal. These coordinated attacks on essential medical infrastructure and personnel are designed to cripple the local healthcare system, a strategy that has been consistently denounced by international human rights organizations.

In the early morning hours, an advanced position of the Health Authority in Hanawiya was struck by high-power projectiles fired by the occupying army. According to a report published by a Lebanese agency, this deadly incursion claimed the lives of four rescuers who were attending to the civilian population. The deliberate nature of these attacks, especially against clearly marked medical facilities and personnel, highlights a troubling pattern of behavior that directly violates established international norms concerning the protection of healthcare workers during armed conflicts.

The Lebanese Ministry of Health vigorously denounced these attacks, emphasizing that the victims were exclusively carrying emergency medical supplies and possessed no form of military equipment. The governmental institution reminded the international community that the Arab country had recently secured a resolution from the World Health Assembly (WHA) specifically aimed at protecting medical missions. This resolution underscores the global consensus on safeguarding healthcare providers and facilities, a principle that the Israeli regime appears to be flagrantly disregarding through its latest military operations in southern Lebanon.

Concurrently with these documented war crimes, Tel Aviv’s aircraft continued to bomb populated areas in Nabatieh, Majdal and the outskirts of Mayfadoun. These sustained attacks against civilian centers further illustrate a broader pattern of aggression that inflicts immense suffering on non-combatant populations, pushing the region deeper into a humanitarian crisis and challenging the very foundations of international law.
