At least two explosions struck the Gound Operations Battalion No. 18 military base in Planadas, in southern Tolima, west-central Colombia, on Sunday night, leaving four people dead including a two-month-old baby, according to the governor of Tolima.

Governor Adriana Magali Matiz, in a message on her official X account, called the attack inadmissible, expressed solidarity with the families, and demanded justice and forceful actions to stop what she described as barbarity.
