Acting President Delcy Rodríguez Calls for National Unity to Strengthen the Bolivarian Revolution

The acting president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, made a phone call to the Venezuelan people this Wednesday during the Great Workers’ March, a rally demanding the release of President Nicolás Maduro and First Lady Cilia Flores.

In her address, Rodríguez emphasized that “the people of Venezuela are an example of struggle and perseverance” and called for unity to continue building the nation. “May all of Venezuela, united, seek a horizon, and may that horizon be social peace, economic peace, so that hope may dawn in every working family in Venezuela—the hope that we will have them back,” she affirmed emphatically.
The Head of State stressed the importance of incorporating the Bolivarian ideals of social justice and inclusion into the Labor Constituent Assembly and reiterated her commitment to working for the projects of the Bolivarian Revolution. He also stated that hope lies in building a nation that guarantees “the happiness and future of our sons and daughters.”
Rodríguez urged the people to maintain national cohesion and to promote economic development as a path to achieving the Supreme Happiness of the People, in line with the founding principles of the Venezuelan revolutionary process.
