The Persian forces remain on high alert as authorities report arrests of 19 terrorists in the province of Sistan and Baluchistan.
On Tuesday, Gen. Ali Abdollahi, commander of the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, announced that the Iranian Armed Forces remain on maximum alert and are prepared to respond to any new U.S.-Israeli attack.

“We warn the United States and its allies not to make another strategic mistake or miscalculation. Iran and its Armed Forces today are more prepared and stronger than before, with their finger on the trigger.”
“They will respond rapidly, decisively, powerfully and extensively to any new aggression or violation by the enemies of this land and this proud nation.”
“The American and Zionist enemies have already tested the brave Iranian people and their powerful Armed Forces many times. With determination and divine will, we have demonstrated our power and capabilities to our enemies on the battlefield.”
“And if our enemies make another mistake, we will respond with strength and capabilities far greater than those used during the imposed war of Ramadan. We will defend the rights of the Iranian people with all our strength and cut off the hand of any aggressor,” Gen. Abdollahi warned.
Despite the truce that began on April 7, the United States and Iran have not managed to start peace negotiations. US President Donald Trump has continued to threaten to resume military aggression to supposedly restore the flow of trade in the Persian Gulf and the Arabian Sea.
On Tuesday, Iran’s Intelligence Ministry announced the arrest of 19 terrorists belonging to four operational cells in the southeastern province of Sistan and Baluchistan.
“They were operating under the direct direction of the American-Zionist enemy. The militants were arrested before carrying out any action,” Iranian authorities said, adding that they also seized two rocket launchers, one M4 rifle, five AK-47 rifles and large quantities of ammunition.
Sistan and Baluchistan province has a predominantly Sunni population and is home to smuggling and drug trafficking gangs as well as extremist groups from that branch of Islam opposed to Tehran’s Shiite government.
Since the beginning of the U.S.-Israeli war on Iran on Feb. 28, Persian authorities have arrested 6,500 “traitors to the homeland” amid strengthened security measures.
