FIFA expressed its full confidence in the experienced teams responsible for implementing these measures, emphasizing that they will be replicated in all remaining matches of the tournament.

England and Argentina will play the second semifinal on Wednesday, vying for a place in the final against the winner of the match between France and Spain.

The match is marked by the historic rivalry between the two teams, a rivalry that blends sport and politics, although Argentine coach Lionel Scaloni insisted that it is “just a football match” and urged everyone not to let external factors influence the outcome.

FIFA highlighted that the tournament has had an “exceptional” atmosphere to date, with fans from different countries gathering peacefully and celebrating together, without any major incidents reported.

The 2026 World Cup, hosted by Mexico, Canada, and the United States, began on June 11 with the participation of 48 teams for the first time in history and has unfolded in a climate of unity.

The two semifinals will be played in Atlanta and Dallas, while the final is scheduled for July 19 at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey/New York, where the new world champion will be crowned.
