In a fiery address on Thursday, Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, leader of Yemen’s Ansar Allah movement, reaffirmed his group’s unwavering support for the Palestinian people and the Islamic Republic of Iran, declaring that the battles in Gaza and Iran are part of a single, unified struggle against what he called the “Zionist-American enemy.”

Al-Houthi described the Israeli military campaign in Gaza and the recent strikes on Iran as interconnected fronts in a broader war against the Islamic world.

He accused Israel of committing genocide in Gaza, particularly through attacks on humanitarian aid centers, and condemned the United States for enabling these actions through military, political, and financial support.

The Houthi leader denounced the weaponization of humanitarian aid, claiming that aid distribution points in Gaza have become “death traps” for civilians. He called for mass mobilization across the region to pressure Israel and halt what he described as a “brutal farce.”

Turning to Iran, al-Houthi condemned the Israeli airstrikes on Iranian territory as a “dangerous escalation” and accused the U.S. of strategic deception through failed negotiations. He defended Iran’s nuclear program, asserting that Tehran has no intention of developing nuclear weapons, and criticized the West for ignoring Israel’s own nuclear arsenal.

He praised Iran’s “powerful and effective” retaliation, claiming it had placed Israel in an unprecedented position of vulnerability, and warned that Zionist settlers were fleeing to Cyprus in fear.

Al-Houthi framed the conflict as a civilizational struggle, asserting that Iran’s independence and support for Palestine are the true reasons behind Western hostility. He emphasized that Yemen, Iran, and Gaza form a united front against what he called “a savage, lawless enemy” that threatens the entire region.
