Sayyed Abdul Malik al-Houthi, leader of Yemen’s Ansar Allah movement, has condemned Israel’s ongoing operations in Gaza, accusing Tel Aviv of pursuing forced displacement of Palestinians and total occupation of the enclave.

In a speech marking the anniversary of Jerusalem’s occupation, Al-Houthi criticized settler incursions at Al-Aqsa Mosque, claiming they aim to erase its Islamic identity. He dismissed Israel’s humanitarian aid distribution plan as a deceptive tactic, asserting that starvation is being weaponized against Palestinians.

“Children in Gaza are dying every day from hunger and lack of medical care, while the international community remains complicit or indifferent,” Al-Houthi declared.

The leader revealed that, in the past week, Yemen launched 14 ballistic and hypersonic missile strikes, along with drones, targeting Jaffa, Haifa, Ashkelon, and Umm al-Rashrash (Eilat). He claimed Yemen’s military operations have disrupted Israeli naval activity in the Red Sea and key maritime routes.

Al-Houthi accused Arab and Islamic regimes of betrayal, citing economic cooperation with Israel via Mediterranean trade routes. “These governments are directly contributing to the crimes in Gaza,” he stated.

He further criticized U.S. military and political backing for Israel, calling Washington a “direct accomplice” in the Gaza war.

Al-Houthi announced a mass protest in Sana’a and other Yemeni provinces on May 30, urging people to mobilize in solidarity with Al-Aqsa Mosque and Palestine. He vowed that future Yemeni military operations would be “more effective and impactful.”

Regarding Israel’s recent airstrike on Sana’a International Airport, he asserted that it would not deter Ansar Allah’s military campaigns, warning that Yemen’s response remains comprehensive despite efforts by Israel and the U.S. to escalate the conflict.
