Yemen’s Houthi forces have launched two ballistic missile attacks targeting Ben Gurion International Airport and another strategic site in Tel Aviv, intensifying their military operations in solidarity with Palestine.

In a statement released via Telegram, the Ansar Allah movement confirmed the use of a Palestina 2 hypersonic missile against Ben Gurion Airport, located in occupied Jaffa. Additionally, the group fired a Dhu al-Fiqar ballistic missile at a “vital enemy target” east of Jaffa, an area under Israeli occupation.

Houthi forces stated that the strikes were carried out in response to Israeli military actions in Gaza, including massacres of Palestinian civilians and the latest incursion of settlers into Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem. The group emphasized that the operation successfully disrupted flights and forced millions of settlers to take shelter, further destabilizing Israel’s air operations.

Labeling the attacks as a symbol of solidarity with the Palestinian people, the Houthis accused Israel of committing genocide, noting that the Palestinian death toll in Gaza has now exceeded 54,000.

“The genocide against our brothers in Gaza—alongside the siege and enforced starvation—is a crime without precedent in history,” the statement read. “All free people of the world must act to defend justice and humanity and fulfill their duty toward the oppressed Palestinian people.”

According to the Gaza Ministry of Health, 54,056 Palestinian civilians have been killed since October 7, 2023, with another 123,129 wounded. Since March 18, when Israel violated the ceasefire agreement, 3,901 Palestinians have lost their lives, and 11,088 more have been injured.
