According to the text, these are old, meddling, and useless formulas that American imperialism seeks to revive in order to destabilize the peace and tranquility of the South American country, as well as to obstruct the path to the consolidation of collective prosperity.
These are absurd and desperate actions by the American Attorney General, clearly illegal and without any basis whatsoever beyond the attempt of a delirious aggression against the head of State elected at the polls, with the clear purpose of encouraging extremist groups in the country and the region to resume violence, “which has been defeated and will be defeated in every way by our Government and our people.”
The president of the National Assembly of Venezuela assured that the country is the safest and with the most dynamic economy in America, attributing the attacks to its defense of sovereignty and peace. It considers Maduro as a guarantor of peace, protector of democracy and defender of the rule of law, expressing its support and accompaniment in the defense of the homeland.
“In 25 years of Revolution, we have resisted and advanced despite constant imperialist aggressions. They have not succeeded, nor will they succeed, with crude sanctions or criminal blockades, much less with senseless threats, in derailing the noble course that the Venezuelan people granted themselves in very free elections on July 28, 2024, when they elected Nicolás Maduro as President of the Republic; on May 25, 2025, when state governors and the National Parliament were elected; and on July 27, 2025, when we freely and transparently chose mayors and council members in the municipalities,” Rodriguez stated.
In addition to demanding respect for the people of Bolívar, their self-determination, and their Constitution, and conveying to the U.S. that the right wing will not return to power, the deputies expressed: “To those who promote hatred and chaos, we say clearly: Venezuela does not surrender. With civic-military-police unity, we will defend our independence and the path towards the prosperous, just, and equitable country that we will bequeath to the next generations.”
