The National Electoral Council (CNE) of Venezuela carried out an exhaustive pre-dispatch audit of voting machines as part of the preparations for the municipal elections of 2025, scheduled for 27 July.

The president of the CNE, Elvis Amoroso, oversaw the progress of the electoral schedule, highlighting that 85% of it has been completed and that 100% of the voting material and machines are deployed nationally for the elections of mayors and councillors.
The control procedures carried out by the Electoral Authority aime to verify the correct operation of the system, ensuring transparency and reliability in the transmission, counting and totalization of votes and cementing the transparency and robustness of its electoral process, considered one of the safest and most reliable in the world.
In addition, on July 27th is scheduled a third popular national consultation, this time focused on youth projects, considered an unprecedented event that supports a model of direct and participatory democracy, as well as community empowerment.
In this regard, will be enabled more than 15,731 voting centers, with 20,410 polling places, of which 15,935 will be available for the youth consultation.
