Initial announcements indicated 244 returnees, later revised to 170 then 140, before the final 71 arrived. Cabello condemned this as evidence of “the disorder of the North American empire” in transfer procedures, accusing US authorities of “imperial arrogance” and misinformation campaigns that hinder family reunification.

Venezuela Demands Return of Separated Migrant Children

Cabello specifically demanded the return of child Maikelys Espinoza and other Venezuelan minors separated from families during migration processes. He emphasized these cases demonstrate systemic failures in US immigration protocols.
