On Thursday, Venezuelan Foreign Minister Yvan Gil welcomed Andrei Reshetnyak, senior adviser at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO), in Caracas.

The meeting focused on strengthening academic and cultural cooperation, with the goal of creating joint programs that connect universities, research centers and artistic training institutions in both countries.
The dialogue between Gil and Reshetnyak was held with a spirit of shared development, aiming to enhance knowledge, teaching practices and enrich the cognitive systems of both Venezuelan and Russian students.
The Bolivarian diplomat described the relationship between the two countries as a long-term alliance with a global outlook, committed to diversity of thought and the promotion of an inclusive international order.
This Caracas meeting is part of ongoing efforts to build and expand areas of cooperation in science, culture, and education.
MGIMO, considered one of the world’s most prestigious diplomatic institutions, is seen as a key partner in advancing initiatives that bring together new generations of leaders from both nations, fostering values of collaboration and mutual understanding.
