The ‘Doomsday Plane’ is the aircraft used by the President of the United States and the National Emergency Airborne Command Post (NEACP) to prevent extreme emergencies.

“Public flight tracking data from services such as FlightRadar24 and ADS-B Exchange showed the plane departed Barksdale Air Force Base in Louisiana on Tuesday, flying northeast before landing near Washington, D.C., under the unusual callsign ‘ORDER01,'” Defense Scope reported.

Newsweek and The New York Post were among the first U.S. media outlets to report on the presidential plane’s movements and link them to military events in the Middle East.

According to Defense Scope, an Air Force spokesperson attempted to minimize press concerns by stating that the latest flights of the USAF E-4B were linked to routine operations unrelated to any specific event

Also known as “The Pentagon Plane,” the USAF E-4B was designed to serve as an operations center for the U.S. president, the secretary of defense and the Joint Chiefs of Staff in high-threat war scenarios.

Theoretically, this modified Boeing 747, adapted for military purposes, can withstand nuclear blasts, electromagnetic pulse attacks or cyberattacks. The aircraft, which can be refueled midair, is designed to stay airborne for an entire week.

The plane “provides a survivable command, control and communications center to direct U.S. forces, execute emergency war orders and coordinate actions by civil authorities,” according to the U.S. Air Force.
