Starting from Habima Square, demonstrators moved through downtown Tel Aviv toward the Israeli military headquarters, known as the Kirya, carrying bags of flour and holding photos of children said to have died from starvation in Gaza.
“We are holding photos of Gazan Palestinian children who died of starvation, who simply starved to death,” said protest organizer Alon Lee-Green. “They died as Israel blocks aid to Gaza, we are here demanding to stop the starvation.”
The demonstration highlighted growing concern among segments of Israeli society about the humanitarian impact of the ongoing military campaign in Gaza, now in its tenth month.
The UN and humanitarian agencies have repeatedly warned of catastrophic food insecurity in the territory. Aid organizations say delivering essential supplies remains extremely difficult due to Israeli restrictions and ongoing military operations.
Israel has denied allegations of widespread famine, insisting that it is allowing humanitarian aid, including food, to enter Gaza. Protesters, however, challenged this narrative.
“They tell us there’s no starvation, these are lies. There’s pictures here of kids starving,” said one demonstrator, pointing to the images of visibly malnourished children carried through the streets.
The rally ended peacefully, and no arrests were reported.
As the war persists, dissenting voices within Israeli society are demanding a shift in the government’s approach to Gaza—especially regarding access to humanitarian aid and the growing civilian toll.
