In a television broadcast on Wednesday, Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei praised the Iranian people’s resistance to Israeli attacks and warned that his nation would not yield to any pressure.

He also warned the United States that it would suffer “irreparable damage” if it intervened directly in the Iran-Israel conflict by attacking the Persian nation.
“The Iranian people remain steadfast in the face of imposed war, just as they will remain steadfast in the face of peace. These people will not submit to anyone,” Ayatollah Khamenei said, adding that the citizens’ response demonstrates the Iranian nation’s spiritual and rational growth.
He also praised the “heroic behavior of the Iranian nation in the recent case of the senseless and malicious aggression of the Zionist enemy.”
The Supreme Leader reaffirmed Iran’s determination to fight against Israel, a country that made a “grave mistake” by attacking Iran and will pay the consequences. “The people will not forget the blood of the martyrs nor the attack perpetrated against their territory,” he warned.
Ayatola Khamenei also referred to the threats issued on Tuesday by the U.S. President Donald Trump, who demanded an unconditional capitulation.
“The intelligents that know Iran, the Iranian nation and its history, would never speak to our nation in a threatening language because the Iranian nation will not give up. Americans must know that any military intervention will undoubtedly accompany irreparable damage to the United States.”
