Venezuelan Vice President of Defense Vladimir Padrino López denounced that the U.S. used weapons never before seen in combat during its January 3 aggression, turning Venezuela into a “laboratory” for new war technologies that culminated in the kidnapping of Maduro and Flores.

“Venezuela has sought to humiliate its honor and dignity, but our determination is unwavering,” the Defense Minister stated.

Venezuela consolidated a comprehensive model for combating drug trafficking based on popular-military-police coordination, with concrete results in neutralizing criminal structures and defending its airspace.

“We are offering this successful model of popular-military-police unity to American imperialism so that it can effectively combat drug trafficking,” he said.

“With these actions, the total number of aircraft destroyed since 2012 reaches 421, and 30 during the year 2025,” the Bolivarian National Armed Forces detailed.

The Sectoral Vice President of Politics, Security, Citizenship and Peace of Venezuela questioned the decision of Washington and Port of Spain to place the maneuvers “right in front of the Venezuelan coast” despite the availability of other areas in the Trinidadian territory.

Venezuela’s defense minister claimed that the main objective behind the blockade, criminal sanctions, lies, and the current U.S. military deployment in the Caribbean Sea is to “force a change of government” in Venezuela.
