Due to recent terrorist actions, Putin rejected the possibility of a cease-fire and ruled out a summit with Zelenskyy.
On Thursday, Russian authorities suspended traffic on one of the railway lines in the Voronezh region, located about 280 miles south of Moscow, due to a new explosion on the tracks.

The Federal Security Service (FSB) confirmed that an explosive device caused damage to the railway infrastructure.
“Thanks to the professional actions of the train engineer and their crew, who noticed the damage to the rails and activated the emergency brake, a train accident was prevented and, as a result, there were no casualties,” the FSB said.
The explosion occurred at kilometer marker 725 on the Evdakovo-Sauni section, approximately 75 miles south of the regional capital, suspending train traffic in one direction. More than 20 passenger trains experienced delays due to the incident.
“There are no casualties. Emergency services are currently determining the cause of the incident, and their representatives are at the scene,” said Voronezh Gov. Alexander Gusev.
Over the weekend, two trains derailed in the Kursk and Bryansk regions after explosions destroyed two railway bridges. In the Bryansk incident, seven people were killed and more than 100 were injured, while a freight train derailed in Kursk. Russian authorities accused Ukraine of being behind the explosions, labeling them terrorist attacks.
Due to the explosions and a recent attack involving maritime drones on the Crimean Bridge, Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday rejected the possibility of a cease-fire and ruled out a summit with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, whom he accused of leading a “terrorist organization.”
