The British-Ukrainian terrorist tandem prepares acts of sabotage aimed at disrupting U.S.-Russian negotiations, SVR said.

On Monday, Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) accused London of devising plans for terrorist attacks carried out by Ukrainian intelligence agencies.

The plans for such attacks are typically drawn up by the British side, while the direct perpetrators are usually members of Ukraine’s intelligence services or their agents, the SVR claimed.

“In particular, this scheme was employed in recent terrorist attacks on railway lines in Russia’s Bryansk and Kursk regions, as well as in the June 1 attacks on Russian Aerospace Forces airfields,” it added.

The SVR said it has information that the British-Ukrainian terrorist tandem is preparing new acts of sabotage aimed at disrupting U.S.-Russian negotiations and convincing the White House of the need to continue large-scale military assistance to Kiev.

The statement added that Ukrainians and Britons are plotting provocations in the Baltic Sea, including one involving an alleged Russian torpedo attack on a U.S. ship.

“Currently, the Ukrainians, together with the British, are preparing provocations in the Baltic Sea. One of the scenarios involves staging an alleged Russian torpedo attack on a US Navy ship. Soviet/Russian-made torpedoes have already been handed over by the Ukrainian side to the British,” the SVR said.

“It is planned that some of them will explode at a ‘safe distance’ from the American ship, and one will not work and will be presented to the public as evidence of Russian ‘malicious activity’. The Ukrainian security forces are ready to take over the execution of the plan,” it added.

The foreign spy service claimed that Kyiv has become, for the United Kingdom, “the ideal executor of vile provocations and terrorist attacks, willing to eagerly carry out the dirty work.”
