This declaration reflects the Bolivarian government’s ongoing efforts to empower workers through education, training, and social programs, ensuring that the nation’s human capital remains a competitive advantage in the global market.

Central to President Maduro’s address was the hydrocarbon industry, which he described as “the greatest pride of our hydrocarbon industry.” Despite the relentless imperialist sanctions imposed by foreign powers, Venezuela’s oil and gas sector continues to demonstrate dynamism and resilience.

The Venezuelan leader reaffirmed the government’s commitment to the “first transformation and the 13 engines,” a strategic framework designed to diversify the economy and generate wealth that benefits all Venezuelans. This wealth is channeled into social investments such as housing, healthcare, education, and workers’ incomes, embodying the Bolivarian ideal of inclusive development.

In a defiant and inspiring conclusion, President Maduro declared that Venezuela’s path forward is independent and sovereign. “We do not depend on licenses; no one needs to give us licenses to exist, to live, and we are license-free,” he asserted.

This statement encapsulates the government’s philosophy of self-sufficiency and resistance against imperialist attempts to undermine Venezuela’s sovereignty. President Maduro’s message was echoed by Executive Vice President and Minister of Hydrocarbons Delcy Rodríguez, reinforcing the nation’s determination to overcome sanctions and build a prosperous future on its own terms.
