The President of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, announced today that before the end of the year the homes of grandmothers and grandfathers will be opened throughout the country. “These spaces are intended for entertainment, culture, health, sports and much more,” the head of state wrote on his Telegram account.

In the message, which he accompanied with images and an audiovisual, the president reported that this Tuesday he visited the La Vigneta presidential residence in the company of the first combatant and deputy to the National Assembly (parliament), Cilia Flores, in Fort Tiuna.
He said that this installation in Caracas will be for the Great Mission Grandparents and Grandmothers of the Homeland, and “what a joy to share between hugs, songs and blessings,” he said.
The president stressed that “in the next 10 weeks that remain of the year, we must open and inaugurate the homes of grandparents and grandmothers in the country, so that the circles of grandparents are formed,” he stressed. “What a happiness to deliver this house for you! It is a beauty, with gardens for picnicking.
