Caracas, July 24, 2025 – Venezuelan President Maduro shared a message of peace and cooperation during his visit to teleSUR headquarters, expressing the aspiration to establish permanent communication channels and respectful relations with the United States.
Acknowledging deep historical differences dating back over two centuries, Presidente Maduro affirmed that ongoing daily communication across various fronts demonstrates progress in mutual respect, reflected in recent diplomatic interactions.
Highlighting the legacy of revolutionary movements in the Americas ,including the US independence struggle, the Haitian revolution, and the Bolivarian revolution ,Presidente Maduro stressed that these distinct historical experiences have shaped different models of governance.
“These are two visions that can dialogue and must respect each other,” he said, defending the sovereignty of nations to choose their own paths free from external interference.
Presidente Maduro strongly condemned interventionist policies, asserting that Venezuela pursues a diplomacy rooted in peace, dialogue, and mutual understanding. He emphasized that Venezuela, consistent with Bolivarian principles, does not interfere in the internal affairs of the United States and expects reciprocal respect.

“It never occurs to any of us to interfere in the internal affairs of the United States,” he said, urging the international community to reject imperialist interventions.
Regardless of changing administrations in the White House, Presidente Maduro reaffirmed his government’s commitment to constructive engagement with the United States. He underlined the necessity to maintain open communication and build bridges based on respect while upholding the sovereignty and dignity of all nations involved.
